Overview

Starting at Km 0 of Estrada Nacional 2 in Chaves (Trás-os-Montes) and ending at Km 738 in Faro (Algarve), the RAID 4X4 Nacional 2 OFF-ROAD takes place on the most fantastic off-road tracks that Portugal has to offer. All stages of this adventure were designed for true off-road lovers.

This “4×4 raid” concept is characterized by presenting a route with many kilometers of off-road paths/trails that cross plains, rivers, valleys and mountains of exceptional natural beauty.

Participation is open to 4×4 vehicles and people of all ages can take part in the challenge. Participants do not need to have technical knowledge of driving or off-road navigation and their vehicle, in order to be able to participate, does not require any special preparation. Navigation will be carried out using GPS with a track provided by the organization and the degree of difficulty for this expedition is considered medium.

Day 01 :

Arrival in Chaves

Free arrival in Chaves at 6:00 pm, reception of participants, document checks and delivery of support material for participants and vehicles (t-shirt and sticker kit). Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Forte de São Francisco 4*.

Day 02 :

Chaves – Vila Real – Lamego

After Km 0 of Estrada Nacional 2, we will follow fantastic off-road tracks through Serra do Alvão and the Douro Vinhateiro. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 03 :

Lamego – Viseu – Lousã

We dedicate this stage to covering a spectacular off-road route through the Granite Villages of the Central/Northern region of Portugal and the Serra do Caramulo. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 04 :

Lousã – Vila de Rei – Abrantes

We set off early through the tough shale sections of Serra da Lousã, continuing towards the geodesic landmark of Centro de Portugal (Vila de Rei). We will then cross the agricultural fields of Lezíria do Tejo. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 05 :

Abrantes – Alcáçovas – Beja

We enter the Alentejo region and the fast off-road tracks of Montado Alentejano. We continue to Vale do Sado with its rice and corn fields and end the stage next to the Roxo dam. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Rural Vila Galé Clube de Campo 4*.

Day 06 :

Beja – São Brás de Alportel – Faro

We continue off-road in the Golden Plains of Baixo Alentejo and enter the tough tracks of Serra do Caldeirão. We finished the 4×4 raid at Km 738 of Estrada Nacional 2 in Faro. Free return home.

Registration information:

€695 per adult in own vehicle, in a double or twin room and half-board (breakfast and dinner).
€480 per teenager aged 13 to 16, in a triple room with parents on a half-board basis.
€312 per child from 4 to 12 years old, sharing their parents’ room on a half-board basis.
Free from 0 to 3 years old, sharing their parents’ room.
Single supplement: €220.
The minimum number of participants: 16 people.
Payment of 50% upon registration, the remaining 50% payment up to 30 days before departure.
The registration deadline is 45 days before departure.

Required documents: Personal identification document; 4×4 vehicle documentation; valid car insurance; driving license.
Registration: You must send us the completed registration form together with payment of 50% of the participation fee.
Prices: From €695 / Person in own 4×4.
Single supplement: €220.
Accommodation: As mentioned in the program.
Accompaniment: Trip leader with support from the organizational structure.
Group: Minimum of 16 participants.
Program: Depending on weather conditions, group conditions or other justifiable conditions, the organization may change the program without prior notice.
Cancelamento e Reembolsos:
– Cancelamento pelo Cliente: Até 60 dias antes da viagem 100% de reembolso em crédito para nova viagem. Até 30 dias 50% de reembolso em crédito para nova viagem. Menos de 30 dias, sem direito a qualquer reembolso.
– Cancelamento pela Empresa: A empresa reserva-se o direito de cancelar a expedição devido a circunstâncias imprevistas, oferecendo uma reprogramação ou reembolso total em crédito para nova viagem ou nova data.
